Quite the comeback playoff game Saturday night! Jaguars versus the Chargers. Although I’d suspected it, a bit of online research indicates that Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is a young, but committed, Christian. The Jags have a history of hiring men of faith. I recall attending church with Mark Brunell and Tony Boselli in the early days of the Jaguars franchise.
The thing that impresses me most about Trevor is the combination of his humility and openness to sharing his faith (like he did in a Sports Illustrated article). God uses all us, if we are willing, whether famous or not, wherever we are… as lights upon a hill, as witnesses for Him, to an unsaved world. (Matthew 5:14-16)
