Summer is often a big time for family reunions and vacations. Treasured moments to be sure! But, Jesus reminds us to keep our priorities. And no, it’s not family first, before country or career, as we may often say. It’s Christ first, and then family, etc. With the right priorities, everything else falls into place. Jesus said, “Unless you love me more than family, you are not worthy to be called my follower.” Matthew 10:37

Very true and hard to remember this at times. God is a loving but jealous God. If we keep Him first, He will direct our paths and make them smooth.
