Disinformation runs rampant and largely unchecked in the spiritual warfare arena, as well as in the personal and political arenas of life. Just one example – Many atheist anti-Christian commentators like to quote (without attribution or evidence, and with partial truths at best) that NONE of the Gospels were written by eyewitnesses to Christ’s miracles, etc. In reality, the gospel of Mark, as just one example, was written by Peter’s traveling companion Mark who wrote down (like a scribe or secretary) the words of that close first hand eyewitness and confidant Peter who was present with Christ during all of his ministry. Peter, a relatively uneducated but highly intelligent fisherman, did not know written Greek (the language of books and letters of the day), so he dictated the story of Christ to Mark in order that it might be preserved and transmitted. And what about John and Matthew…?? Research their apostle credentials for yourself. We must always be informed consumers of what we read and hear. Words matter. Accurate information and discernment matter also. What is truth? Pontus Pilate asked that question when he had truth in the flesh standing before him. What is truth? WHO is truth? Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life…” (John 14:6)
